Bio

David Andrew Burd, also known as Lil Dicky, is an American rapper and comedian. He came to prominence with the release of the music video of his song 'Ex-Boyfriend' in 2013, which became viral with more than one million YouTube views in 24 hours. His debut album, Professional Rapper, was released in 2015. He also won attention to his 2019 'Earth' music video, which starred several singers and actors including Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber and Leonardo DiCaprio to name a few.

Life & Career

Lil Dicky began working on his debut mixtape, So Hard, in 2011 & took two years to compile. In 2013 he began releasing one song per week for & after the release of 32 songs and 15 music videos, Burd launched a Kickstarter to create and produce more music, videos, and go touring. Lil Dicky released his debut album, Professional Rapper, in 2012, debuting at number seven on the Billboard 200 & featured guest appearances from Snoop Dogg and Fetty Wap. In 2018, he collaborated with Chris Brown on 'Freaky Friday,’ the single hit number one on Billboard's Hot R&B Songs chart. In April 2019, Lil Dicky released the charity single 'Earth' and a corresponding animated music video for Earth Day, with the proceeds going to environmental charities. The song featured vocals from over 30 high-profile guests, including Ariana Grande, Snoop Dogg, Kevin Hart, Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry, John Legend, and many other stars. The single reached number 17 on Billboard's Hot 100.
